Our partners Vonne Laan and Eliëtte Vaal will speak atthe Day of the DPO (De Dag van de FG) organized by the Dutch Data Protection Authority (DDPA). During their session, “The DPO and Cookie Compliance”, they will address the growing regulatory and legal focus on online tracking and cookie compliance.
Vonne and Eliëtte will discuss the growing focus of European data protection authorities on online tracking and cookies, including new guidance, enforcement decisions, and court rulings. As cookie compliance touches both the GDPR and the Telecommunications Act, it can be a less familiar area for DPOs. The session will highlight key developments and offer guidance on how DPOs can respond within their organizations.
