Biography
As junior legal counsel, Damian provides legal research and advice on privacy, data and IT law, including legal questions raised by fast-changing technologies.
Background
Damian holds a Bachelor of Laws from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He became interested in privacy and IT law during in-house days at a law firm. Damian went on to complete the Master Law and Technology in Europe at Utrecht University, writing a thesis on Dutch judicial review of GDPR fines.
Damian joined the data lawyers as an intern in July 2026, and then started as Junior Legal Counsel in November 2026.
