Data Protection Congress Outvie
Vonne was invited to speak about enforcement at this years’ Data Protection Congress of Outvie. What type of enforcement cases did we see over the last period? What can we learn from them?
Vonne walked the public through three major cases of the Dutch Data Protection Authority. She discussed the following cases: DPGMedia and SVB, both about verification of data subjects when they exercise their privacy rights; the SVB case about discrimination by the Dutch Tax Authorities and the case about the municipality of Rotterdam that used cars with 360 degrees cameras for surveillance purposes.
